Dick has been the permanent drummer of the band for 3 years. At the age of 7 he started as a drummer at the local drum band and he was immediately done for, so from that moment on, drumming was everything to Dick.

With his first drums, bought with the money he got at his first Communion, he prawled around the neighbourhood for years. After having learnt the ‘trade’ with several bands and in different styles, he became the drummer of the band in which Big Caz-bass player’s son played and that’s how he came into contact with the band.

When there was a vacancy at Big Caz, the decision was quickly made and although he was a bit ill at ease (Dick came from the Metal and Hardrock scene), he soon played a full time part in the band. In the meantime equiped with a ‘vintage Ludwig replica 1962 drumkit’ he and Gerard the bass player are the solid basis of Big Caz & the 4 Bobs.
